DAV Note – How to Obtain a Copy of Your DD214

How to Obtain a Copy of Your DD 214 – DD Form 214s are now online at http://vetrecs.archives.gov. The National Personnel Records Center is making it easier for veterans with computers to get copies of documents from their military files. Military veterans and the next of kin of deceased former military members may now use this service to request documents. This website should reduce waits in requesting by eliminating the records centers mailroom and processing time.
