After the Storm

I want to thank all our family and friends who have contacted us to check up on us on several occasions and thanks Lon and “T” for offering the RV. We came through unscathed. We have been without power and cable since 0300 27AUG11 and have been on generator for about 39 hours now. I shut it down long enough to let it cool, check oil, gas it up and fire it up again.

I also want to remind everyone that DAV Chapter 26 Havelock stands ready to assist and disabled vet and/or family in this time of need. Call me at 252.349.0006. You may have to leave a voice mail as I think sprint lost a tower or two because I have been roaming since Saturday. Contact me if you need or know of someone in need of assistance or if you would like to make a donation to your local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans.

Thank you and God bless.
